The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that BLACKPINK’s album “Born Pink” had been officially honored with the Gold Brit Certification, meaning they achieved 100,000 units sold in the country. Thanks to this new milestone, BLACKPINK has become the First K-Pop Female Act to have albums certified gold in the United Kingdom as “The Album” also achieved this special certification in 2024.
